Over 300 Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon in a few hours, killing 50, wounding 300

In a statement, Lebanon's government emergency health service center said that more than four hundred people, including women, children, and paramedics, were injured in the attack by Israeli forces.


A BBC representative said hundreds of installations were attacked by Israeli aircraft in southern Lebanon. He called Monday's attack the most intense so far in Israel's ongoing tensions with Lebanon.


The Israel Defense Forces claimed to have struck more than 300 Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon shortly after Monday morning. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said attacks on Lebanon are intensifying. The offensive will continue "until we achieve our goal" of returning thousands of displaced Israelis to the north.
