Born in a Muslim family in Gholsa village of Baralekha upazila in Moulvibazar district of Bangladesh.

Maruf Ahmad's father's name is Maulana Qari Hossain Ahmad Jalali, mother's name is Runa Begum. He is the fifth among the 6 brothers of Maruf Ahmad.

Early Education Life of Maruf:
Maruf Ahmad studied from Shahjalal Latifia Cadet School (Barlekh) till Standard Play, Nursery, and Class One in Muraul Government Primary School in 2008 and passed with honors till Class V.
Secondary education career:
Maruf Ahmad was enrolled in Bangladesh's oldest educational institution Sujaul Sr. Fazil Madrasa in Dakhil VI in 2016 and passed Dakhil 10th with honors in 2019.
Higher Secondary Life:
Maruf Ahmad was admitted to the renowned institution Shahjalal Daruchhunnat Yaqubia Kamil Madrasah in Sylhet in 2019 and passed the Alim class and is currently studying in the Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies Department here. He is also studying at Sylhet MC Collage with degree pass (BA).
Obtaining Qariyana Sanad:
Maruf Ahmad received his Qaria Sanad from Darul Kirat Majidiya Fultali Trust, the renowned Board of Qaris of Bangladesh.
Career:
Maruf Ahmad is an assistant teacher at Al-Rayyan International School, a reputed private institution in Sylhet.
